Swissbiolabs Förderverein
The core and base of Swissbiolabs is its non-commercial association, called Förderverein Swissbiolabs. The association is responsible for fundraising, building and developing the Swiss Diagnostics Forum and all other activities and services of Swissbiolabs. Furthermore, it is supporting and serving its members with useful information or access to special events. The Förderverein Swissbiolabs is also responsible for partnering and collaborating with other organizations and companies.
As members of the association we have individuals, various foundations, companies and other connected organizations, e.g. scientific institutes.
It is our goal to strengthen Switzerland’s diagnostics industry. By contributing to the Diagnostic Ecosystem in Switzerland and Europe, we want to promote good science, to incubate successful enterprises and to promote talents. Therefore, beside other projects, we organize the Swiss Diagnostics Forum and other activities. All our projects are for mutual benefit of established companies, start-ups, investors and the scientific community.
Our members are companies, institutions and individuals, who are committed to support our goals.
Our office is based in Olten and run by the Wirtschaftsförderung Region Olten.

Our Members
Members of the Förderverein Swissbiolabs are companies, institutions and individuals, who are committed to support our goals. Beside others our key partners are the Solothurn Economic Development Agency, the economic development agency of the Olten region and the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, in particular the School of Life Sciences.
The Swissbiolabs Diagnostics Challenge is organised by the Förderverein Swissbiolabs. The goal of the Förderverein is to strengthen the diagnostics industry in Switzerland by supporting entrepreneurship and talents. The Förderverein contributes to the development of successful enterprises out of great scientific ideas and supports cross-fertilization of innovation and thereby strenghten the Diagnostics Ecosystem in Switzerland.
Our specific activities:
— Set-up, maintenance and further development of the incubator «swissbiolabs»
— providing the (modular) support program for young entrepreneurs
— development and execution of the “Swiss Diagnostics Start-Up Day”
